About personas and roles
Learn about people, personas, and roles.
How it works
Every end-user is a person tied to a unique set of personal details (name, date of birth, email address, and phone number). One person can have access to multiple accounts and their personal details will be shared across these. This allows users to log into multiple accounts using the same credentials.
The relationship between a person and an account is represented by a persona. There can only be one persona for every person and account combination. Permissions are defined at the persona level using roles.
A role is a pre-defined set of permissions granted to a persona. It determines what they can view, what they can edit, and which payments they can make.
