Payment types
The Equals Money API supports the following payment types:
- FasterPayment
- BACS
- CHAPS

Internal and budget transfers
An internal transfer is a transfer made from one Equals Money account to another Equals Money account. For example, transferring funds from ACME International to ACME UK.
A budget-to-budget transfer is a transfer from one budget to another within a single Equals Money account. For example, transferring funds from ACME International’s account budget to its Marketing team’s sub-budget.
